Day 1: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO - PIETRALCINA
Arrival at San Giovanni Rotondo in the late morning, accommodation in the reserved rooms and lunch at the hotel. In the early afternoon, departure in the direction of Pietralcina, the birthplace of Padre Pio. Here it is possible to visit the house where the saint was born, the church of Sant'Anna and the spiritual path linked to his youth. Late afternoon arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: MONTE SANT'ANGELO
After breakfast departure in the direction of Monte Sant'Angelo where we visit the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo, heritage
UNESCO. This sanctuary, also known as the ‘Celestial Basilica’, is one of the main sites of Micaelic worship in Europe. At the end of the visit, return to the hotel for lunch. Free afternoon. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO- RETURN
After breakfast at the hotel, visit to the Sanctuary of San Pio da Pietrelcina, designed by Renzo Piano, which can accommodate up to 7,000 worshippers. The sanctuary is an important place of pilgrimage and offers a unique spiritual experience. At the end of the visit, departure for the return journey. End of services.
